Inscription: {very lengthy inscription} Rusticoville Mar 10/1899. Dear Mother: I arrived here last night about
8:30 was not a bit cold. Had supper at Mr Whitehead’s. My hands and feet more a little cold when
I got there. Wm Houston & wife were here when I got here, expect to go up to grandma’s
tomorrow (Sat) – please send down that tray cloth as soon as you can. Folks are all quite well.
The roads were real good except a few slews on the hillsides. Going to Mr. Bulman’s tonight. Did
not leave S.Side til after 3 o’clock. They expected me to go right up to grandma’s. I feel
somewhat tired. Love to all, Annie.
